Mintegral is proud to announce its ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability in digital advertising with its recent recertification for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Tech Lab Open Measurement SDK (OM SDK). This achievement underscores our dedication to providing our partners with the highest standards of third-party viewability and verification of ad traffic.

Understanding the OM SDK

Introduced by the IAB Tech Lab in early 2018, the OM SDK represents a significant advancement in the measurement of mobile in-app ads. It serves to streamline the process for third-party viewability and verification vendors, eliminating the need for time-consuming and costly custom integrations. The OM SDK 1.3, with its latest updates to common code and libraries, allows sites and apps to communicate measurement signals to an API, known as the Open Measurement Interface Definition (OMID). This enables measurement providers to collect vital data efficiently.

The Importance of OM SDK Compliance

Compliance with the OM SDK standard is crucial for the digital advertising ecosystem. It ensures a broader inventory can be accurately measured, allowing publishers to offer high-quality inventory that is attractive to advertisers. This, in turn, provides advertisers with data-driven reports and campaign insights, fostering confidence in their inventory bids and ensuring the legitimacy of their investments. Moreover, the OM SDK's role as a single-source SDK enhances the accuracy and performance of ad performance measurement processes.

The recertification of the Mintegral SDK applies to iOS 5.8.0 and Android MAL_10.1.1 or later. All the mainstream ad formats are supported including banner ads, native ads, rewarded video ads and more. You can find more information on the IAB Tech Lab website.
